I calculated to worksheet and basically it said I do not qualify for the additional child tax credit. Then I used the H%26amp;R Block Estimate Calculator and it provided a refund amount in that area.

What qualified someone to get the additional child tax credit?

The estimate calculator is only that, an estimate - all of the deep tax logic isn%26#039;t built into the software.

If you don%26#039;t get it on the worksheet, then you most likely don%26#039;t get it. But if you buy turbo tax and it says you don%26#039;t get it, don%26#039;t believe them - do the worksheet.

it said the same thing to me too. I have gone in and out of turbo trying to see why it says I don%26#039;t qualify. 3 children, only one is under 17. Urgh Report It

I%26#039;ve used H %26amp; R Block%26#039;s calculator for 4 yrs. and never had a problem. While it may be off a few dollars, it%26#039;s not that far off that it would claim you get the ACTC but you really don%26#039;t

Are you sure you didn%26#039;t miscalculate something on the worksheet?
