I never received the tax credit that Bush implemented in 2001 or 2002.?

i never received the tax credit that Bush implemented in 2001 or 2002. I filed head of household and should have received a check for $500. The IRS acknowledged it was mailed and returned to them. They verified my address and mailed it again. I still did not receive it. I now owe taxes and this would help in reducing my balance. How can I get this resolved?

They should be able to verify whether or not the check was ever cashed, and if not, then you should be entitled to it. You need to keep on these people though! They%26#039;re just civil servants. They don%26#039;t care about you, as long as they get their paycheck!! Fight until you see that check!!!

contact the irs to get a status or to use it for your current amount you owe. Act quickly beacause there is a time limit of about 3 years (depending on your state) that past monies can be claimed.

Bush took it and gave it to his twins...

i can%26#039;t believe anyone is truly as stupid as you claim to be. the irs does NOT mismail refund checks, and certainly never does it twice to the same person. anyway, moron, if this rediculous story actually did happen, you simply deduct the amount of the missing refund as a credit to your current tax bill
