Im 25 coming up, single and have no children but i earn 鎷?5976 per yr. Would i be entitled to working tax credit??

I am older than you earn 鎷?0500 per year and get 4.25 per week working tax credit. but remember it goes on last years earnings.

What makes you think you should be entitled to this handout, I am 55, have worked all my years, single, earn less than you and I get bugger all!! So much for equality under this pile of **** government!!

My cousin applied for tax credit and he is on 鎷?2,500. He did not quality.

I have been searching the net for budget 2007 changes to WTC, and could not find any mention of the threshold to quality. However I did find the 05-06 threshold and it was 鎷?0,000. All tables published in the papers show tax credit at 鎷?0,000 and no tax credit at 鎷?5,000 so I doubt you will get anything. Anyone between 10k and 15k will only get something if the threshold has changed. This assumes basic circumstances, because as others have mentioned there may be exceptions.
